Top 5 Beach Restaurants around Monaco

Le Deck, between the sea and an Olympic pool
At Le Deck, you may not have your feet in the water, but you can savour the pleasures of a true beach club atmosphere. The summer restaurant of the Monte-Carlo Beach, perched on the tip of Larvotto, is a suspended address with views stretching from the legendary Olympic pool to the Mediterranean Sea. You can unwind in a breezy seaside atmosphere within a setting designed by architect Dorothée Delaye.

Savour the Mediterranean cuisine of chef Pascal Garrigues, who harmoniously blends local produce and seafood in a committed, seasonal approach. Here, spaghetti with cognac-flambéed rock lobster sit alongside an oyster bar where the catch of the day meets the most coveted shellfish. Those with a sweet tooth will not be left wanting, with offerings such as frozen yogurt or a red fruit gazpacho with Grasse rose and aloe vera.

La Note Bleue, 25 years of tradition
This Monegasque institution, where regulars come to dine with their feet practically in the water, is equally devoted to Mediterranean cuisine. Established on Larvotto beach since 2001, La Note Bleue is orchestrated by chef Laurent Paya. Locals mingle with an international clientele drawn by an atmosphere that shifts with the hours, from relaxed at lunchtime to musical in the evening, with DJ sets on Wednesdays and Thursdays and live jazz, soul and world music concerts on Fridays and Saturdays.

In the morning, enjoy a brunch-inspired breakfast served until noon. Let yourself be surprised by the signature “Œufs Mado”, fried eggs on brioche with ratatouille, rocket, Parmesan and seven-year-aged balsamic. At lunch, try the truffle or burrata pinsa romana, or the tuna tataki with avocado and broccoli. In the evening, surrender to the signature risotto or settle into aperitivo mode during the golden hour.

La Vigie Zanoni Monte-Carlo, the new Italian address
A first for chef Simone Zanoni, who is taking up his summer residence at the Monte-Carlo Beach. An address as fleeting as it is exceptional.
Since 12 June 2026, the tip of the Monte-Carlo Beach peninsula has taken on an Italian accent, courtesy of the celebrated chef Simone Zanoni. This spot, suspended between the pines and the sea, remains one of the Côte d’Azur’s best-kept secrets among those who truly know. This season, the chef presents a generous, sun-drenched Italian cuisine, celebrating seasonal produce, handmade pasta, grilled dishes and seafood. Getting there is part of the experience: on foot along a shaded pine path, or by water shuttle from Monaco’s port.

Maestro Zanoni has crafted a number of signature dishes here, among them tuna crudo with strawberry, arancini, carbonara tortellini and three-ricotta ravioli. You can even enjoy wood-fired pizzas, including the Truffle and Ricotta.
At lunch, sharing dishes take centre stage, such as the figliata; in the evening, the atmosphere grows more refined, and guests are gently carried by soft Italian melodies.

La Môme Riviera, the festive one
It is on the private beach of the Maybourne Riviera, in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, that you will find yourself at table. An idyllic setting, a cove of crystalline waters, five-star service and an atmosphere that builds as the day unfolds, drawing the most discerning guests. A coveted address just steps from the Principality, accessible by reservation only. As evening falls, the beach takes on a festive spirit, with DJ sets alternating with live music nights.

The talents of chefs Benjamin Zannier and Joen Blasco shine through in a naturally Mediterranean cuisine built around sharing and open-fire cooking. At lunch, the menu is light and ocean-forward: think red tuna tiradito with Baux-de-Provence oil and Amalfi lemon, or lobster tagliolini with Sauce Môme Riviera. Come evening, the family bouillabaisse becomes the star of the table.

La Réserve de la Mala, the icon of Cap d’Ail
This is without doubt the most iconic address in this selection. Nestled in a rugged cove at Cap d’Ail, reached by a long descent on foot or by water taxi from Monaco, it is the seasonal gathering place of those in the know, who come as much for the sheer beauty of the setting as for the cuisine of chef Frédéric Jean-George. Here, while superyachts anchor in the bay and the setting sun casts its singular light on the rocks, it becomes clear why this address, founded in 1961, remains one of the Côte d’Azur’s absolute references.

The chef delivers a simple, sun-lit cuisine: burrata di Audia IGP, royal sea bream ceviche, gambero rosso carpaccio, grilled fish and langoustine pasta delight locals and summer visitors alike. The famous salt-crusted sea bass “Steph’s special” remains the star dish, one to savour before leaving with the taste of the Mediterranean and the memory of this idyllic place.
